CARDS

While abroad in Florence for 10 weeks, I created a set of postcards. The drawings were completed on-site with pen, iterated, and then finalized digitally, using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. Focusing on Florence’s rich history and vibrant modern life, I wanted to overlay the past with the present, putting vector drawings over my analogue work and adding the phrase on the back: “Florence, Italy — Where the past is present.” The second set of cards in this section were compiled as editorial illustrations visualizing climate change data by the EPA on marine species distribution.
